to make tea and no breakfast for 3 km at Ages. Walked to Villafria
through deciduous woodland. Saw unusual white orchid and wild flower
that looked like a jonquil. Heard skylarks singing for a lot of the
day. Woodland opened to reveal open country and city of Burgos. Took
bus through suburbs to avoid pavement walking. Arrived in Burgos at
2.30 and checked in at Hotel Espana where bags were dropped. Luxury!
Looked round cathedral. Went on little train. Had dinner with Diane
from Quebec and Christian who is proving to be a weirdo. Mo thought he
was pissed and told him. He said he didn't appreciate her comments so
not a good atmoshpere for dinner. We can't seem to lose him .
