Day 7 Puenta la Reina - Estella

We are getting behind with blogging again due to rubbish internet cennection last night and lack of working WiFi. And it is frustrating not to get the photos on so I´'ll have to call on Chris again to help out with posting them.

But .... we are really having such an experience - there are LOADS of people doing this trek but you you don´t see all of the people all of the time. Can be alone for ages then people overtake and then you overtake and so on.

There´s a big choice of hostals and you run into the same people all the time building relationships fronm the ´hola´ stage to having dinner together.

In Estella we went and had a drink and tapas with Bernt (who has completely adopted us due to the high standard of breakfast provided I think)and Alexander who is an Austrian psychotherapist and the guy we thought had given up due to his injured knee. But no!! with Ibuprofen and determination he is walking on, another journey that has been planned for eons and he won´t give up easy.

The hostel in Estella (ANDFAS) was run by people with special needs. It was kitted out properly for disabled access and was generally well equipped. A large sleeping room with lots of different people. Mo and I use our sarongs to hang round the bunks which gives a modicum of privacy but is no protection from the snoring! We were unfortunate to have the same guy in our room for two nights running.
